No deep dings or scratches in the metal, just some light bumps and bruises but nothing that effects the performance of this reel. I don't see any cracks in the handles or on the plastic pieces, just the light wear.
As you can see in the photos this Abu Garcia 5600 has been used and does show some light wear.
